  • 3. Why do the companies use social media? <ul><li>To build relationships with customers. </li></ul><ul><li>To promote new products or services. </li></ul><ul><li>To get feedback from customers. </li></ul>
  • 4. Examples Starbucks informs upcoming events and share videos and photos on Fan Page. Pepsi provides its customers to share opinions and informs updates on their products. M.A.C Cosmetics uploads video clips of their events and customers show how they use the products.

AdWords <ul><li>An advertising program from Google. </li></ul><ul><li>Ads appear on the top of the results page or on the right side. </li></ul><ul><li>Pros – can target specific groups who are searching for specific keywords. </li></ul><ul><li>Cons – people who don ’ t search for the keywords cannot see the ads. </li></ul>
